LLI Batting Helmet Clarification

As more and more players in MLB are sporting flaps and guards on their helmets, safety-conscious parents should heed the following reminder from LLI:

Little League International will not allow ANY batting helmet that has been personally modified in any way to be used in league play. This includes the new face masks that require drilling into the helmet to install. LLI will only allow helmets purchased with these enhancements already installed by the helmet manufacturer.
