Farm League: Rules of Play

Refer to beginning of documents for rules, using the following notes for the Farm 2 games. 
1) Nine players are in the field: Pitcher, catcher, 4 infielders at correct positions and 3 out fielders 
2) Team is retired after all player have hit.
3) Coaches pitch at beginning of season with players pitching during the season at coach's discrection.
    - Any one pitch from the mound including a warm-up pitch constitutes one inning pitched
-  A pitcher may pitch a maximum of 6 innings per week
-  1-2 innings pitched in a game require one days rest
-  3 innings pitched in a game require 2 days rest
-  3+ innings pitched in a game require 3 days rest
-  If a 3rd game is required in a week due to re-scheduling of rainout dates, a pitcher can pitch if all other criteria are met.
-  If there are 2 hit batsman in the same inning a pitcher must be removed
-  Maximum of 3 hit batsman in one game and a pitcher must be removed
4) Players cannot steal home plate, unless an overthrow is made on them at third. 
5) Bunting is allowed.
6) Tagging up on a fly ball is allowed .
7) The infield fly rule is in effect 
8) Playing Time: Each player to play ½ of game in the field and at least one at bat 
9) Free substitution is allowed 
10) All plays made on a runner at home plate – the runner must slide or be called out 
12) First half of the season, no inning will start after 7:30 
13) Second half of the season, no inning will start after 7:45
